Both of us are Italian and after travelling in different countries and some world-round trips we decided to live in Nicaragua, where we have been living since 2008…we really fall in love with this country!

We both are involved in several volunteer project here in Nicaragua trying to help people and kids, and we decided to share what we learnt in these years about Nicaragua, its beaches, beautiful colonial cities, misty coffee high-altitude coffe farms and friendly people…

We definately can help you if you are planning a Travel in Nicaragua !

I have a house near Leon (well on the beach just down from Salinas Grande) and we go to Nica 2-3 times per year. I bought a Nica phone to use when I am there but how do I get the double SIM thing happening? I want to be able to pretty much use my data daily for a few hours but not sure how much to buy for that.I will do some work while there so hoping to load a ton of data on my phone and then use it as a wifi hotspot. I won’t use movies-just data, phone and text I think but having a hard time figuring out what to do on that. I guess I need to keep incoming calls and texts on my phone but definitely need to buy data…ideas? thx

      Hi Patricia!
What kind of phone do you have? You would need a double sim phone. I have been using this for the past years: http://amzn.to/2BGsVll Moto G, best value for money. Allows me to have Claro and Movistar sim and get the best promotions! You can also have a nicaraguan sim card and keep your US one at the same time…
